Who is responsible

European Centre of Performing Arts UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Harnackstrasse 5, 39104 Magdeburg, Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Email: office@ecp-arts.com. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not required to.

What we collect

Only what you enter in the application form and the files you attach: name, email address, telephone number, country, year of birth, voice type, training, repertoire, any links and your message, together with your recordings and documents. Technical connection data is not stored beyond what is needed to deliver the page.

Why, and on what legal basis

Where the data is

On our own computer in Germany. The application is not sent to a cloud service, and it is not transferred outside the European Union. Only the people conducting the selection have access.

Who sees it

The selection is carried out by ECP-Arts. Your recordings and documents are not passed to the advisory board, to agencies, to houses, or to any other third party, and they are never published.

How long we keep it

If we do not offer you a place, we delete your application and your files six months after the decision — unless you asked us to keep them on file, in which case we delete them after three years or whenever you ask, whichever comes first. If you take part in the programme, the data becomes part of the participation file and is kept for the statutory retention periods.

Your rights

You have the right of access to your data, to have it corrected or erased, to have processing restricted, to object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable form. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority; the authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Saxony-Anhalt.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies for advertising or statistics, uses no analytics service, and loads nothing from third parties — no external fonts, no maps, no social plugins. Nothing about your visit is measured or passed on.

Your browser stores two small entries, and only because you asked for them: the language you selected in the switcher, so the site opens in it next time, and a note that you have seen this information. Both stay in your browser, never reach us, and can be removed at any time by clearing your browser data. Because this storage is strictly necessary for the function you requested, no consent is required for it (Article 5(3) ePrivacy Directive, § 25 TDDDG).

If we ever add anything that does require consent, you will be asked before it runs — not afterwards.

No automated decisions

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. Every application is assessed by people.
